MOHANJI says that people’s faith is what heals them
First, believe there’s a possibility that with grace, things can change. In life, if you believe in something, it’ll work. What did Jesus say? Let your faith heal you. He never said, “I am healing you.” What’s actually healing you? Your openness heals you. But many times, people say, “Okay, let me try; let me do this.” It doesn’t work that way. Destiny cannot be changed. Otherwise, these masters – Sathya Sai Baba, Shirdi Sai Baba, Babaji – so many great masters who have walked the path; there would be no misery on earth. Then why is there still misery? There are even now living masters, powerful masters. But still, there is misery on earth.
You brought it forward – past karma, lineage karma. All those things put together created the effect. And what are we trying to do? Trying to create awareness in them so that they don’t carry it forward.
We all have the power to heal ourselves. The only blocking factor is the mind
It’s not that you can just wave a magic wand, and then all these things get solved. It doesn’t work that way. And many people, I have experienced that they have come with no faith, no belief. They say, “Okay, I’ll try this also; if it works, it works. If it doesn’t work, no problem.”
Or people say, “Can you show us some miracles?” How can you show miracles? You are the miracle, and if you have faith, faith will heal you. If you are firm and clear, so many things can happen. But that kind of conviction should be there.
But usually, what happens is, “I’ll try with this guru. If something is happening, I’ll stick with him; otherwise, I’ll go to another guru.” And they will keep taking the begging bowl to different masters.
One Master, One Practice
It’s important that we need to have faith and stay put, one master, one practice, to have that one connection very sincerely. Then it’ll happen. But let me tell you one thing – to change the whole world is not our job. Our job is to be available, to be present. The presence will change things if faith happens. Our job is to bring electricity, but our job is not to switch on. The job of the sun is not to give you heat or light. Its presence is like that. Heat and light are its nature.
The nature of a guru is healing; not that guru decides to heal.
This should be very clearly understood.
No guru does the healing. His presence brings forth alignment. Alignment gives healing. Alignment heals, not the guru.
You need to understand that this is the truth of existence. Our job is not to go around and say, “I’ll heal you, come here.”
Through your alignment of body, mind, intellect, ego and spirit together, you become one unit
Those people who do are astrologers who say, “You give me money, and I’ll give you some clearance of your karma.” But nothing will happen. Those who go after such things, superstitions etc., always have false hopes and disappointments as well. This should be very clear. Our job is to be available. When somebody calls on us, we should be present – not physically, but in presence. The presence will work wonders.
