What use are Natural Laws to us? If everything is meant to be as is, then we are mere spectators and we don’t have to do anything but just live our own life. If our destiny is already written, are we supposed to just watch the game?

An employer once hired an employee who wasn’t well-qualified. He had thought of firing him later when he would find a more suitable candidate. But to his utter surprise, the candidate he hired proved to be an asset for the company. He learnt all the business tricks in no time. If he hadn’t made efforts to prove himself indispensable, he would have been surely fired. But he became aware of his new responsibility and acted accordingly.

On the other hand, there are thousands of ways of restraining ourselves from committing an irresponsible act.

We just don’t want to start anything unusual because it is not what is expected from us. In such a case, we can do nothing but just wait until the veil of Maya is lifted.

But how do we initiate something which will bring us good results?

Act according to natural or cosmic laws; be aware of them while performing your karma.

How does one identify them?

Keep your eyes open. These laws will unfold themselves gradually as you gain experience in life.

A few which cannot be missed are listed here:

Law of death or degeneration

Everything in the universe will eventually die or will be destroyed one day. We all know this law very well. But how many of us have actually used it for our benefit? We naturally think that whatever we do will continue eternally and is never going to end.

We go shopping and buy all kinds of things for our future needs.

But do we have any idea of the future? It might change the very next moment! Whenever there is a shortage of commodities in the market, we all rush to the market to stock them. Can we not modify our needs? If the price of onions is sky high, can we not cook without onions? There is no need to stuff your wardrobe with clothes. You cannot wear them all at once.

Even relationships wear out like clothes. If we want to prolong the course of things, then we need to take care of them. Things will surely wear out one day, but with care, we can enjoy them longer.

When we buy a house, we adorn it with all kinds of things not realising that what looks up to date and modern today is going to be out of fashion within a few years. Instead, why don’t we just begin with the essentials and keep adding according to our needs?

Change is permanent

If you are investing in things believing that it is not going to change, then you have not been wise. Setbacks and surprises are a part of life. So don’t bet on things which you think will never change. To avoid failures, you need to be aware of the changes.

It is easier to go downhill than climb up

From success to failure, it is an easy ride, but it takes years to build a successful path. Do not lose patience and keep fighting and be ready to take opportunities which arise from changes in life.

Deception shows in the end

It can’t rain from artificial clouds. Nor can artificial flowers give fragrance. Whatever you do has to be honest and truthful. Fraudulent acts will soon land you in trouble.

Plan your actions

Always have a backup plan ready.

Decide what you want to do. A well-planned scheme is a must in every sector of life. Leaving everything for a Sunday will tear you down. It is better instead to devote half an hour to hard work every day. Those who are prepared, always have a better chance to succeed.

The graph of life is a parabola

The graph of life rises from zero and reaches the zenith, stays there for a while and then there is a gradual decline. The peak is reached only once in a lifetime and everybody has a shot at the best part of life! This useful law applies to businesses, too.

Time bomb

All activities in our life are fitted with a time bomb. If you don’t finish them in the allotted time, the bomb will explode in your face. Be aware of doing things at the right time and at the right moment. Don’t waste time.

Similarities bring harmony

When the problem of classifying living beings came upon biologists, they looked for similarities and the task became easy.

Happiness is a catalyst

If you remain happy, no work seems a burden. Everything is enjoyable when we are happy, or we can say that things we enjoy keep us happy. So let us engage ourselves in jobs which we enjoy. Keeping ourselves groomed and attractive also boosts our confidence and makes us happy.

Excess is poison

Anything in excess is harmful. Balance is the key.

These are only a few of the natural laws. Most times, one can identity the natural laws which play a vital role in our life. For instance, a businessman’s life may be ruled by quite a different set of rules as compared to an actor or a politician.

All that needs to be done is to identify and be aware of them in your life.
