DR PUSHPA CHATURVEDI tells us in verse what it takes to be a warrior
A reminder to self….
Awful enemies we have so many
Funny! that they reside inside you ‘n’ me
Though they aren’t worth a single penny
But like hell they keep on defeating you ‘n’ me
Ego thumps in, shouting how can I quit?
My presence is what makes you feel falsely fit
I make you rule over all those whom you meet
Don’t speak of humility, it’s the power of the weak
How much ever we kick out anger ‘n’ wrath
They come back again like a fresh dart
Configured cunningly to impede our path
Robbing peace ‘n’ joy from our loving heart
Hate is what we hate to live with
But then at times, hate never listens
Challenges brutally our loving etiquette
Filling our insides with poisonous spate
When ugly pride comes walloping in
What follows is our plunge into a dirty bin
Pride costs us almost everything
And when it’s beaten, we are nothing
Greed grips us tightly left and right
It does not rest until it feels satisfied
And raises its evil head again ‘n’ again
For greed we know is never quenched
Get out, get out, we cry writhing in pain
The stress you all create makes us insane
You attack our naive wandering mind and soul
How do we get back our peace, you stole
It’s finally becomes evident that all we need
Is an awakened mind ‘n’ soul which pays heed
Be a warrior of your mind’s garden, now invaded by foes
Kill the opponents with soul power that glows
Welcome love, patience, humility, contentment to reside
Never permit awful terrorists to take you for a ride
An aroused mind is an abode of joy, peace ‘n’ sublime
Pray for God’s grace to conquer the hidden enemies inside
To find calm and order living with chaos around
Is what a mind warrior needs to learn abound
When we choose to change our mind thoughts and acts
A mind on guard, renders futile, any enemy attack.

Thank you Pushpa ji for sharing such a beautiful poem, a strong reminder to keep our own mind on guard who alone wages a war within and that manifests in all the havocs in our surrounding.
I dedicate this poem in your honour as it is inspired by your beautiful write up this fine morning ??
it is mind that
makes
the battle cry,
it is mind that
calls for peace.
mind alone is
the battlefront
my friends,
and that is the
front of peace.
the victor and
the vanquished
fuse into one
under the
mantle of peace.
and then,
nothing like
being there
my friend,
in
that realm
of bliss ?
in
in that realm
of bliss ?
Baturam Nayak
Thank you so much ?Beautifully said!?
The victor and the vanquished fuse into one under the mantle of peace
A victorious mind is armed with will power to vanquish the enemy with awakened ease
